Bring on The Fun
Parenting is hard. Momming is hard. Finding ways to do “all the things” and still stay connected with everyone in the family and stay sane is really hard, but also totally doable.
In our family, it just takes some fun family time to reconnect and reboot our happy home. Fun time doesn’t have to be expensive, but it does take time.
At it’s core, this blog is about helping families staying connected.
No matter how you got here, I know you’re here because your family is the most important thing in your life, and you’re doing the best you can to make it all work.
I’m constantly looking for ways to have fun and make special memories with my kiddos.
And I want to help you do the same.
I can’t function without my lists. They keep me focused and help me remember what I’m doing, and where I’m going, and what’s coming up next.
I’m constantly collecting ideas for our family, so it just makes sense that I share the best ideas that I find with you so that you don’t have to spend ALL THAT TIME doing the exact same search.
You’ve got so many better things to do with your time, so I’m glad you made it here to check out some of my lists.
You can always find something fun and simple to do with your family here. And, I occasionally throw in some self-care ideas because a happy mom is a fun mom.
How I Got Here
I’m a mom of two tween girls and I’ve been blogging about crafts, DIY, and homelife in various forms since my littlest was born.
Writing this blog allows me to achieve two seemingly competing goals: having a satisfying work life and maintaining the flexibility to spend as much time with my family as I’d like. It’s all about finding that perfect balance, right?
Our family includes myself and my amazing and supportive husband, our 10 and 11 year old girls, two sweet pups, and a crotchety old kitty, plus some Glo-fish who just.keep.living.
As my girls have gotten older, I’ve tried a few stints working outside the home but nothing has ever been as satisfying as the creative work I do as a blogger. I love earning money from my blogs and my Etsy shop because it means I get to do what I love AND stay home with my kids.
